Michael George began his career in 1984 and has more than 20 years’ experience in the insurance industry. By 1987 Michael was the number one agent with Lincoln National Life selling their new HMO product and serving large national accounts like US Sprint, Honeywell and Hewlett Packard. In 1988 Michael left Lincoln National and joined Allstate Insurance Company so that he could offer customers products in addition to health insurance. In 1988 Michael received the first of numerous awards as Allstate’s “Rookie of the Year.” Later Michael attained all the award levels including a nomination for the “Athenian Award” (one of the top three commercial agents in the country).

Mary Kay George became licensed as an insurance agent in 1992 and brought her Master’s Degree from Northwestern University and 15 years of marketing experience to the award-winning Allstate George Agency. In 1999, she formed Preferred Insurance Network, an independent insurance agency, to offer a greater variety of insurance products and companies to personal and commercial lines customers. In the first year of business Preferred Insurance received an award for the “Largest Single Quarter New Business Production” from Royal and Sun Alliance.
